$50 and $100 Radars... Question?

My question about the $50 radar and $100 radar would be that:
Shouldn't these dollar value radars have a higher UNC value since it would be much more difficult to obtain a radar in UNC condition?
My reasoning would be that it would be a lot easier for the average person to obtain a brick of $5, $10 and even $20 where you would get at least a radar out of the brick.
Now that can't be said about $50 or $100 - cost of a brick would be $50,000 and $100,000.
It wouldn't be worth while to order a brick of either to get one radar. Now if there is less chance of getting one in UNC condition from a brick wouldn't it add a premimum that you wouldn't see on the $5, $10 and $20???

you are right; however at some point financial common sense has to take place.

a 5.00 radar unc going for 20 bucks is 4x face value (modern common note)

a 100.00 radar going for 400 bucks is silly...no one would pay that simply because of the financial constraints...and while 50's and 100's may look nice..the amount of money being tied up..(face value) usually means that a collector of radars will have (maybe) only one (a type set) rather than a series of prefix's ..

I am a radar collector and I also collect $50 and $100. They are harder to find and harder to sell because many collectors only collect lower denominations.

Personnaly I think that $50 and $100 radar notes have a good future, because more people collect them. Also in 30 years they will become "regular" notes and future collectors will want old $50 and $100 radar notes.

I collect one radar note of each denomination for each modern signature combinations. Here is a picture of my Knight Dodge set:

Thank you Kelly. It took me a lot of time to find collectors who had 2 digit radar notes for sale. I didn't find any of these notes in a bundle, I had to pay a good premium for each note.

I have the same set for the Knight Thiessen signature but I don't have the $100 and it is my fault because I had the chance to buy one on Ebay and I missed it.

If anyone on this board has a K-T $100 2 digit radar for sale, I would be interested.

Just got an UNC Bird 50 3 digit radar.  FMD3937393.  Are collectors also interested in the bookend serial numbers either side of a radar.  I have a better-than-average chance of picking these up tonight.
