FMD vs FMF

I have some UNC bird 50s and I've recently had two experiences whereby collectors are more interested in the FMD notes.  What's up?  I thought the FMF prefix was the one to keep; short run and all.  Still way too early to determine any expected premium I suppose.

It may not be too late for me to get some crisp FMF $50's.  I kind of prefer FMD myself, but I would look for FMF if I were you.  Just my two cent's worth.

FMF is much harder to find. Only about 3 million FMF notes were printed compared to 10 million FMD notes.
