Would you buy this piece?

Hello all,
Been building a collection for my 4 yr old niece the past two years. Birthdays and Christmas presents for now.
The dealer has a 1954 $1 UNC regular Beattie/Coyne asking $20 which I need. Note is very nice BUT centering is off. Top and bottom are o.k. , Left side has about 3/16 to edge, right side about 1/32 to edge. Should I buy it or pass??

Welcome to the forum. Really the choice is yours to make but a Beattie/Coyne $1 note is quite common and if the centering bothers you or it would not fit in well with the rest of the collection then wait for the next one.

 It would be different if it was a rare test note that you only see available once per decade.

I just looked at Don Olmsteads website and he sells this note in UNC. for $12.00

Thanks Gary ! Could anyone direct me to Don Olmstead's website please. I realize what my niece has thus far is a pittance to all , just give me 20 years to add Like an oldtimer once told me "everyone who made it to the top of Everest started with the first step". Thanks again.
