Gentlemen:
                     Can  any  of  you  tell  me what  is  the  record  price  paid  for  a  Canadian  chartered  bank  note?   For  a  Dominion  note?  For  a  Bank  of  Canada  note?    Thank you.

I know the highest price realized for a Dominion note was for a 1911 $500 note.

I'm quite sure it sold for between $120,000 - $160,000. and sold about 4 years ago by Heritage Auctions.

Someone here should know the exact amount.
