Counterfeit X 3

News: Welcome to the Canadian Paper Money Forum.

Received 3 counterfeit notes today from a friend that works in downtown Vancouver.Seems he was quite busy at the time,distracted with all that was going on,and failed to check 2 $50's,1 $100. This was a large order that consisted of about $800.00 in cash,the shame of it was he had it deducted from his pay cheque so he kept the notes as a reminder of his carelessness.
If appropriate,I'll post them here for all to see.Allowed?

Got the Ok from Brent to post these counterfeit notes.The $50's are higher quality than the $100.

In 1999. when I worked as a blackjack dealer at the Renaissance casino (in downtown Vancouver), a young Asian lady came in to cash about $200.00  in fifties.  I was just about to take the 4 new bills and exchange them for chips when my pit boss pulled my arm and told me to stop.  He said "leave them on the table" and went to get his boss.  The lady looked nervous, and when the manager came she bolted out the casino doors.  Sure enough the notes were bogus, but excellent reproductions.  From my position on the table I hadn't noticed anything suspicious but the pit boss had notice the Optical devices were reflecting the wrong colour.  They passed the note around later to the dealers to familiarize themselves with the notes.  They were extremely high quality.  Felt phoney, but looked identical (except the OD didn't reflect normally). There was a rash of counterfeiting going on then in 1999, the source was apparently mainly from Asian gangs.
