I'm very happy I got my EYN and AZN $20 year change-overs when I did (same with the HOH $5).  The fact that the BOC purposely changed the year (2005) at a new prefix (EZD) gives rise to the speculation: will mid prefix year/signature change-overs become a thing of the past?  I suppose I raise this question in part due to the advancements in printing technology, and the likelihood that things could get very orderly as time goes by.  Or is this recent precise change-over just coincidental, a random fluke-- and we'll see lots more mid-prefix change-overs?

Any thoughts?

Well i have noticed that the bank of canada have been very sneaky with the journey series. We are seeing lots of un-expected rarieties showing up. Case in point, the BEK BEL BER issue. Then lets not forget HOH, What ever happened to all those notes above 0.2 million dated 2004??? And just as we thought HPA $5 was going to be a rare find, they all came out in one shot! Whats great about technology today is at least we can grab on to these rarities as soon as possible.
