Here is one of two error notes I purchased at Torex this weekend.

E25 - Cut Out of Register        E26 - Replacement Note Error

Grade:    AU

A portion of the adjacent note can be clearly seen  at the top of the note.

This Cut Out of Register error occurs when a note is cut with improper alignment of the sheet in the cutting press.  It is extremely rare
to find a Replacement note error, as these notes themselves, were used to replace errors found during the quality control process of
the printers at the Bank of Canada.

Here is the second of the two error notes I purchased.

E14 - Mismatched Prefix Letters

Grade:    VF/EF    (with edge tear)

As the Charlton catalogue states on page 376......."This type of error is rarely found, but would result if the prefix lettering wheel(s)
become loose and rotated out of sequence to that printing the opposite side of the note."

Very few of these errors are known to exist

It is always worth spending the $25 for the early admission pass and getting access to the dealer's tables before the general admission attendees  ;)

I actually picked these up on Friday afternoon...long before the 10 am Saturday morning crowd stormed the dealer bourse  :)

I didn't see the mismatched prefix but I did see the "Cut out of Register" replacement.  Both are extremely rare.  Excellent finds Arthur!
