EYY, EZB, EZD, EZF, EZG, EZI, EZJ, EZS Inserts

I was typing in all the 20 dollar inserts on my Ipod and I saw that EYY, EZB, EZD, EZF, EZG, EZI, EZJ, and EZS all have the same insert range. Is this right? and how did this happen?

This is correct.  For some reason, CBN has stuck to these ranges and has done them somewhat regularily - but not always.
Incidentaly, notes below 9.72 are skip numbered 8000 and notes in the insert range are skip-6000. Notes above the insert range are even possibly different.  

That has some part to do with the ranges being numbered the way they were.  The range is 270,000, and that is the amount of notes in a skip-6000 ream. A ream of the inserts is all 45 positions, but imagine each position having 6 bricks on top of one another (thus "skip 6000").

Not all prefixes have this range as inserts.  I had 4 bricks of EZM and they were in the typical numerical insert range, but they were not inserts, and were skip 8000.

Hi   Sorry, I was in a bit of a rush when I wrote that.
Okay here it goes:
1) CBN $20s we know are 45/on (45 per sheet).
2) The inserts of the 9.72 -9.99M range were found to be with the same FP and BP combination for 6000 consecutive notes. Meaning, 6000 notes per position, then multiplied 45 times. (= 270,000).  
3) $20 inserts from CBN have so far been found as full sheet replacements.

This big chunk of notes 6000 high, in a 5x9 format is called a ream.  The ream of notes for those inserts = 270,000 notes in total.


I hope this explaination makes better sense.  I am drawing on the wisdom of many before me for this, plus my own research (which has confirmed what I have been told).
