Mike,

You need to provide more details including brick serial number (eg. AOT3400xxx), front and back position
numbers of regular notes in brick, serial numbers of inserts and what notes they replaced, and front and
back position numbers of the inserts.

Agreed... You need some data when making such a bold statement....  ;)

I have a question if someone can answer this please.

When the actual last note in the brick which in this case was AOT2931562, do you still describe the brick ending with AOT8771999 or not?
In reality AOT2931562 replaced AOT8771999.

Thanks Mike, much clearer.

All notes had same FP/BP --> indicative of Sheet replacements.

Yes you would still describe the brick as:
AOT 8771000- 8771999 62/73

Good find.

Yesterday I found a single AOT insert in a brick of AOU bills.  The note is serial # AOT2963946 and it replaced AOU2007999.  The brick is AOT2007000-2007999-this year's dates.  If anyone is interested (IE today is May 17, 2007 =2007517) I have the bills that correspond to this year's dates.  Thank you

1967 Relic,

Can you please provide the front (FP) and back position (BP) numbers of the regular notes in that brick ?

An easy way is to look at the radar, which you probably kept, and get the FP / BP numbers off that note.

We also need to know the front and back position number of the replacement note AOT2963946 that you found.

In this way we can determine whether it is a sheet or single note replacement.

Thanks,

...Arthur

OK -the fp # from the radar is 73 and the bp # is 62 (radar AOU2007002)
The fp # from the replacement AOT2963946 is 66 and the bp # is 81.
I have lots of the bills, because I saved them for the 2007 dates, if you need me to look at more of the bp/fp #'s
thanks

Cam...what I think 1967relic meant was that she saved the notes because they were 2007 birthday notes
since the brick serial numbers are AOU2007xxx.

I am sure she didn't mean that they were printed in 2007.

Ahhhh....

I jumped the gun there....

Sorry about the false alarm...  ;)

We are at AOV now (Still 2006 I assume....)

By the way the BoC order's batches of notes it can be expected that the changeover will occur around AOZ or APA most likely.....

I am excited to find out though.....  :)
