That is a ludicrous ammount to ask.  Where's the line between greed and folley?  I think we've found it.

What would be a reasonable price for this note in what appears to be around EF?  I'd think no more than $2000.  What do you all think would be a sane estimate?

Here's the pedigree on the 1937 $100 2-digit radar 0006000:

I purchased the note from Louis Chevrier at Torex June 2006 for $200.  It was graded VG.

I then walked over to Don Olmstead's table and sold it for $300.  The current eBay owner of it bought it
from Don Olmstead for less than $500 and immediately put it up on eBay the following week for a
ridiculous amount.

The miraculous part about the whole story is that note has been rejuvinated to its current grade of VF.

I went to dinner with Don Olmstead after the Torex auction last Friday night, and we reminisced about this
rare note, that we both let get away.
