$5 journey ladder with 2 rungs in the wrong place?

Actually you may be onto something. If the USD exchange rate continues down the same path in a few weeks the note may be more that $5! 

Today I found a BEZ 8,123,456 in Unc, so to tell you the truth I am not really sure what they are worth. There may be a small premium.

I think I will start an almost ladder collection 
I think it will be a lot easier than looking for SNR's and sheet replacements.
Who knows, maybe before I die they will be in the back of the Charltons Canadian Paper Money Catalogue for Dummies "ALMOST LADDERS" section.

I always keep notes like this - it just makes for something better than a random serial number. 

Every now and then I sell a couple. The "Almost solid digit radars" or "almost two-digit radars"  seem to be the most popular of "Almost" notes lol.


I just picked up a 25 c 1923 , serial number
133456

Sometimes you can only get as close as that tothe real thing.

I believe they are worth a little premium. I do the same as I keep them for fillers simply because they are more interesting than just ordinary numbers.

That is a great ideal. I can see Future thread subjects like;

"Show me your Almost ladder"
"Cool almost radar"
"Almost error...sort of" 
"Almost got it on Eba..."
"Almost uncirculated...the definative almost"
"Almost Insert...how my insert fell out of the range even though It was found as an insert.  "

Similar to our "Frustrating notes" thread except we could be more specific to categories and put ordinary collecting in a more positive light.
