I heard someone paid $1700 for a AU note :o :o

Yes, there was a unique sale at $1700 but from what I understand the going trend has been $1200 for AU

It is my understanding that no notes in this range have been found in UNC and that all ten notes reported
to date are AU, as detailed in the BEU Registry.

Actually, the range for this insert is BEU0023000 to BEU0025000, which is confirmed on Gilles' list.
