This low serial number note #A0000012 Plate A was sold on eBay yesterday where it realized US$710.00 (Item 290161995462). Interestingly, this note was not included in the "Register of Surviving (Non-Institutional) Low Serial Number Notes (Under 25) of the Bank of Canada -- Issue of 1935" that was published in the latest (Sept. 2007) issue of the CPM Newsletter. This note appears to have seen more than the usual amount of circulation for a low number note (it looks like a VF+ or VF-EF to me).

The price was a good bit higher than I expected in view of the condition. What do you think?

The price is quite high, not as much for the note as the methode it was listed.

1) no back scans
2) a stupid remenant of the possible buy price ($75.00)
3) scans that do not show the entire note

With all these addressed the note could have sold higher. Just my 2 cent
