Im not sure if this is common knowledge, or not, but I just thought I would warn collectors, about purchasing a note with such an error. I'm referring to notes with white sides along side the hologram strip. The ink along side can be rubbed off in 5 seconds with your finger nail.  :o

It is simply a result of very poor ink adhesion to the foil strip and the backing which makes it stick to the note. Very similar to how a permanent marker doesn't make a mark on that section, but soaks right into the rest of the note. (Try it!) ;)
