What condition is the note in?

There were no $20 notes issued in 1987. Can't be Canadian.

From what I remember, Brian Mulroney who was the PM in 1987 couldn't take a good picture so the CDN $20 bills at that time were left faceless so that people would be willing to use them.  I think I read that in a history book

It is either from December 87' or January 88'.

The note is in perfect condition.

to give you a hint the closet match in date would be 1991 or 1979 unless its canadian tire money

Yes my opologies I had my Mother look at the bill and it is from 1979
