 ???

Check item # 110235380972 from our favourite online auction site.

I was considering buying until I read that the top $50 note is not included  :'( ::) ::)

Mebbe he meant to put the starting bid in Zimbabwean dollars instead of Canadian dollars??

But the seller does sweeten the deal by indicating that there is no reserve on this auction  :) :D :)

here's another listing by the same seller....

for having a "0" rating, worth it or not, I wouldn't risk buying anything over $10 bucks for someone with no rating...

agree? or disagree?

just found this one by the same seller,  am I missing something?  Have banks suddenly decided to never give out consecutive $100 bills?

I think this is a simple case of someone not understanding eBay at all.  He didn't do any research, and won't sell a thing.  He probably figures he is offering a deal because someone somewhere once paid more than that for something similar.

As for buying from someone with zero feedback, I would as long as the entire transaction is covered by PayPal protection.  I have found good deals this way, since other people are hesitant to bid too much.  You just have to be careful to read everything carefully, examine pictures closely, and expect the condition descriptions to be overly generous.

Needless to say, this item ended tonight with 0 bids.

Naturally the seller did exactly what I would have done.  Relist the item and raise the starting bid from $1,688 to $1,888 [albeit with the added option to make a best offer], and just for good measure make two listings for the exact same item.  ::)
