  Hello All

My wife got these from a fellow who had to pay his bills and was wondering if I should hold on to them?

1954 $1000  A/K 0992897 signed by Lawson and Bouey
1988 $1000  EKA0649210  Thiessen/Crow

Both are in excellent condition.  The guy kept them in a plastic sleeve so no creases, bent corners or rips.

   Thanks

If you don’t need the money, I would say to hold on to them. Upside, they don’t print the $1000 notes anymore. The down side, there is not a huge premium on the notes when you go to sell them. So if they are unc notes as you mentioned, why not hold on to them, and welcome to the hobby, if not, I will exchange the notes for you  :)

I took the last $1000 that I had back to the bank a few days ago. At least they took it for face, made a nice deposit.
