This is my first post and I am interested to know what these notes maybe worth:

1.  The Bank of Canada/$10.00 Face value/June 1939/SN 042342/Signed Jaffray and Whipps/Condition is no tears but does look like a used note

2.  Bank of Montreal/$5.00 Face value/January 2, 1935/SN 490907/Signed Gordon/Condition same as above

3.  CBIB Toronto/$20.00 Face value/January 2, 1935/SN 118320

4.  US Liberty Gold Coin/1 oz./Purchased in approx. 1986/Was offered for sale to raise money for the rebuilding/repair of the Statute of Liberty/Any value other than the gold content.

5.  Also have several Canadian silver dollars from 1962-1976/Any particular ones that are more desirable than others?

Can I retire?  What is the best procedure to sell these notes?

Thanks and have a nice day.

Your 1. is actually an Imperial Bank of Canada $10 1939, book value is $55 in Very Good (well used but still decent) and $135 in Very Fine (excellent condition but lightly used).
2.  $55 in Very Good, $110 in Very Fine
3.  I assume you mean Canadian Bank of Commerce.  $90 in Very Good, $200 in Very Fine.
I would guess your coins aren't worth much over bullion value, but don't pretend to know.
I think you'll have to keep working.
You might sell your notes on eBay or eBid, or you could consign them to an auction house such as Hoare, Bell or Moore's.
Or your could post scans and take best offers right here on this site, and not have to pay any fees.
