"A Poem about the New $20"

Later this month, in September it may
The new $20 note will come out, I must say
The colour's still green
And a more mature Queen
Graces the front of the twenty to this day

The New $20 is pretty neat, it's a change for us all
And millions of Canadians will have a ball
When the big green note
And we shall vote
That the twenty is the best of the banknotes all

Canada's twenty is the most popular note
The Loon will soon be replaced by artwork, I quote
Artwork by Bill Reid
He did a good deed
That's why I'm doing the poem I have wrote

The debut prefix on it you'll soon see
Is the prefix on our new $20, and it's EYG
The new note will come
And there'll soon be some
At the end of September, it will be.

Bravo on the poem, Jonathan!

I guess you are now concentrating on the final $50 poem to wrap up the saga.  Remember--you have to finish BIG!  It will be the "Return of the King" of your poetry epic!

Hey, Jason!

Did you get my PM from a week or two ago?
I shall touch base with you very soon!

Jonathan

P.S.:  As for the $50 poem, I'll have to wait until it's at least unveiled - by then, the new $20 bill will have been in circulation for two weeks.

Bye 4 Now!
