Do you have any idea of banknotes of China?Let me introduce some info to you.Before 1949,Some bank notes are printed by Waterlow & Sons Ltd., London,some by American bank note company and some by Thomas De La Rue (TDLR) company.
After July 7th Incident in 1937,Japanese invaded most of area of North of China,it set up Republic of China temporary government and seven puppet banks.The Union Preparation Bank of China is one of them.The bank was set up at Feb. 11 1938.The center located in BeiPing.There were several similar banks in that period.
I attach a image for you reference.There are four pieces of Bank Notes of Republic of China printed by different banks:The Union Preparation Bank of China,The Bank of Communications,The Farmers Bank of China and Bank of HoPei.Their par value are one Yuan,ten Yuan,five Yuan and one Yuan.
