I won a bid on Ebay month ago the $10 note Missing Gold Maple Leaves, the interesting are it is INSERTs note #FEH9138344 (range 9.000-9.980) Knight-Dodge.
I am not know much about this error. Any thought?.

I would be very doubtful about the legitimity (especially if bought from ebay!!)  of this note because these golden leaves can be very easyly removed  with some industrial cleaners.  A very careful examination of the note under microscope should reveal the forgery (the note should not show any discoloration, abrasion, tiny flakes remains of the golden leaves or anything else abnormal).  And a well done job by a careful guy could look for a legitimate error.

Remember the so-called "Missing OSD" on the bird serie is no more recognoised in the Charlton's because the ODS can be removed with some organic solvents.  I think the same warning will be added for the Journey Serie.
