Hi,
I have a few autographed banknotes and do consider them more valuable because of the added signatures.  They are an interesting item to add to my collection as they are completely unique.  But how much more of a premium is always the question of the hour.  If you have access to more of these notes, or have some to sell, please send me an email... mspier@shaw.ca.  Thanks, Murray.

Yes, I also consider having notes autographed by the Governor and/or Deputy Governor to be more valuable and interesting to have in a papermoney collection than an unsigned note.

I have been fortunate to meet face-to-face with various Bank of Canada Governors and Deputy Governors over the past number of years:  John Crow, Gordon Thiessen, Malcolm Knight, Paul Jenkins, David Dodge, and Mark Carney (and when available their Bank of Canada business cards).

I also have several notes autographed by Jorge Peral (designer of the Journey Note Series).  He's the Art Director from the Canadian Bank Note Company (and I also have his business card, too).

It's pretty cool to have this 'unique' paper money collection.

Michael
