Which shinplasters do you have?

I have two 1923 25 cent notes. They are in VG+ condition. Each one is probably not worth more than $14.
I want to get a 1900 shinplaster in EF condition for about $90 (my budget limit). Is it worth it?
Which shinplasters do you own or currently want to own?

In my quest to get "one of each" type of note, I have a 1900 and a 1923. Hopefully I can add a 1870 to my collection soon. I even have a space reserved for it!

I recently found a 1900 version shinplaster amongst some old stamps that my father collected. I am more familiar with coin grading than with paper money so I am not sure how to describe the condition.

Dubya, have a look at the posts in the "What's it Worth" section. There are instructions there on how to grade.

Wish I could help ya, elbac. I had a 1900 Boville shinplaster in textbook EF (i.e. not a hyped-up VF) up until a couple of months ago. Sold it for book value, $90, and the owner is happy. 2 bad

I have one of each, 1870 plain; 1900 Boville; 1923 McCavour-Saunders and 1923 Campbell Clark. They are all in F or less. I've had these notes since 1992.
