1954 devils face

No holes or tears. Design in creases not worn. All printing still VERY clear and heavy. At least VF.
Margins are not perfect. Very little margin on the bottom.

I do not have ability to scan.

Any ideas of pricing?  Thanks

Based on the prefix and serial number, that would be a BC-29b $1. In fact, this is a changeover note to boot. Taking the estimate of VF, the value would be $38.

How do you know its a BC 29bc                 changeover.

Its easy to know just by looking at the serial number. H/A0000001-H/A7199999 are signed Coyne-Towers With Cat. #BC-29a and H/A7200000-H/A9999999 are signed Beattie-Coyne with cat. #BC-29b. This info. is all available in the charlton Standard Cat. of Canadian Gov't paper money. 22nd ed. 2010. I would highly recommend to anyone interested in paper money to buy a copy. Its a great book.

Changeover     meaning this was the last printing of the devil face?

ChangeOver as in different Signatures within the same prefix.

Coyne/Towers H/A, printed 1 to 7,200,000
then
Beattie/Coyne H/A,  printed 7,200,001 to 10,000,000

DF to Modified Portrait is not considered a changeover ...

I believe the the devil face & modified notes that share the same prefix are still considered change over notes.
examples are $1. T/A,  $2. I/B,  $5. I/C $10. J/D  etc. etc.

I have a 1954 $100 bank note signed by Beattie and Rasminsky...is this a Devil's face....and what is the value?.......

Please include the note's serial number and a detailed description of the note's condition.

Based on the signatures, the note is not a Devil's Face note and could be worth anywhere from $100 to $1,000 based on condition and serial number.
