Hello members,

Some of my favorite bills right now are the 1897 $1 and $2 because of the fishing, agricultural and log drive scene.

What's yours?

I am a big fan of the 1954 notes especially the 5's in UNC or better.  I also like the 50's.  I have been attempting to acquire a BC-42b - Beattie-Rasminsky A/H prefix - for a number of years without success.  I am supposed to be "downsizing" but if and when the note appears on a bourse - who knows.

If anyone can e-mail me a copy of this note it would be greatly appreciated.

We are supposed to be a "cashless society" but the number of notes and prefixes in the current series is phenomenal.  A prefix collection of the '54 50's would consist of 4 notes (or six including the devils) assuming the Lawson-Bouey C/H note does not exist.

500's! train notes, 1887 and 1914 $2. As for the new stuff, my favorite bill would be the 1975 $50.

Ahh the 1912 train notes, probably the most beautiful notes ever issued, even though i don't own a single one. Personally the multi-coloured notes series are my favorite as they are the most attractive and colouful out of all series.

I'm another fan of the 1975 $50.  The whole multicoloured is my personal fave.  1935 notes are nice too; I especially like the $2.  Next probably Journey series.  1937, 1954, and Birds series are down near the bottom of my list.  Especially the 1991 $20-  the ugliest Canadian note ever produced IMO!
