Hi all,
Can anyone tell me why the *VJ and *VT are worth more than most other asterisk notes in that series (the *DX would be a nice one to own!)? I'm using the 20th ED. Charlton Catalogue for reference. Also, this note has some serious creases (middle, bottom corner) & crinkles...what condition would this be rated?
Thankyou for your help,
s :)

The *VJ and *VT prefixes are worth more because of the shorter print runs for these two prefixes as compared with others of this series.

In particular, *VJ had approx. 120,000 notes printed, and *VT had 160,000, compared to 440,000 for *TL and *TT. *VA had 400,000 notes and *VL had 380,000.

By the way Brent, That's a new high number. The current high in the catalogue is 2237141.

In the 1971 Replacements (besides *DE/*DX)
*VJ was one of the hardest ones to find along with the EDX Crow-Bouey -Steel Engr.

I would enjoy some opinions here... just wondering how excited should I get about this,
based on a scale of :

      1 = "that's neat...where's the remote!" ::)
      2 = "nice note...it's a keeper!" ;D
      3 = "very exciting, new high's don't surface very often!" :o

cheers,
s

That's would be my reaction.....but I probably would have never noticed it being a new high..... ;D

Is there a list of prefix print numbers for replacement notes? mostly 1954's

Thanks
