Seems to me, that the British American Bank Note Company always prints their notes slightly lighter than the Canadian Bank Note Company. I've noticed this from series 1954 to the Bird series notes. Has anybody else noticed this? I just find the CBNC notes, darker/ richer in colour. Isn't the printing of notes supposed to be "standardized" from both companies? So, why the difference? Any theories?
