For anyone who is involved with their local coin club and/or the
Ontario Numismatic Association, the name
Bruce Raszmann should at least be familiar to you.
Bruce served as Treasurer of the
Waterloo Coin Society from 1960 to 2011, and Treasurer of the Ontario Numismatic Association since 1961. Bruce also held many other positions in both organizations over the years. Neither group would be in the position they are today if not for Bruce's dedication. He recently fell severely ill and was hospitalized. After only four short weeks, he passed away Tuesday September 6.
