Here's a question for those coin buffs in our midst. I have this 1999P Test Quarter that is still sealed in its original plastic housing... Since I don't specialize in coins I decided to play around with a loupe I have, inorder to try to imagine what all those people that go to shows and sit at tables looking at coins through a loupes are trying to see.
While looking at the details of my coin through the loupe something comes off as odd...
Check out these pics. It looks like extra metal, bubbling or something weird is going on along the rim of the quarter. Would this be considered an error?
