I assumed that the one Lawson-Bouey EEP over 9 million went up for sale at the February 2013 Toronto auction put on by Moore's Numismatic auctions. It has serial number
EEP 9601812 and was graded by BCS as Unc-62 original. The sale price was 5 figures.
Now we see a second note with a serial number seven notes away. Doesn't that seem very interesting? It does to me, and confirms that old saying that Unc notes don't usually exist in isolation. It also makes me think that... well, enough thinking for today.
