The last large cash withdrawal i did was a few months ago, it was all Journey $20s that i got. Lets not forget we are dealing with 20's... this is the largest volume circulated denomination. Like the change from the 79 to birds or birds to journey it takes several years to flush out the previous series.

I agree with you for sure it will take some time and there will always be some older ones floating around.  Just last year I got a birds 20$ out of the atm.  It just seems, to me at least, that the polymers are moving in faster than in the past.

Oddly enough a month ago I received two birds twenties from the local CIBC ATM.
Still lots of Journey $20s here too.
