CTC S9 - strange E07 Serial number

hello, new to the forum here.

I have a 1$ CTC from 1987 with the serial number starting with E07.

I thought all S9 1$ bills were marked EZ, EY, or E* during this time frame.

If anyone has any info please let me know.
