Hello all,

Asking what it is worth?

Is BCS a hard grader or soft grader?

Borders are good not perfect, but it looks nice to me.

Thanks in advance

I would say typically conservative graded, in my opinion.  It's worth the listing asking price, if it's your forte

My guess is it would grade 64 EPQ and I would buy it for the asking price of 1300.  Not a steal but worth it if it's what you're looking for.

Thanks guys,

Looks like someone snatched it up or the seller ended the auction.

It was not me just for the record!  I was actually surprised it was listed that long without being snatched up

I'm sorry! I said I would be buy it for 1300 and that's exactly what I did.  I'm happy to pay a finders fee to TheBurnz though for kindly posting the info here.

Congrats Al-Bob, I was trying to negotiate with the seller. I had offered $1000 and the seller countered twice at $1250.

No finders fee needed, I am learning and I appreciate the info you and others provide. I enjoy the hunt and will continue to share with this great community.  I would have accepted the counter offer, but I wasn't sure about the margins and the 60 BSC grade. This experience had made me more aware and more knowledgable.

I know the note has found a great new home.

Until the next note my friends.

P.S. are BSC holders bigger then the PMG or PSGS/Legacy or what ever it is today holders. Do they fit in the 3 note page or do you need to get the 2 note pages?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, BCS holders are bigger which is the main reason I end up cutting them open since they do not fit in my specially made boxes.  Here are approximate measurements for standard holders for small-size notes:

PCGS: 8.25 x 4.25
PMG: 8.25 x 5
BCS: 8.5 x 5.5
CCCS: 8.375 x 5.375

I'm also not crazy about the double layer of plastic in BCS holders which just makes the notes less visible.

P.S. What 3-note pages do you have that can fit PMG/PCGS holders?

My apologies, I check this morning and my pages are two holders per page. But I am sure they have the option of 3 or more per page at the lighthouse warehouse in our area.

When I went there last year, I saw some jumbo size books.
