I have learned that many banks receive orders of new money usually in December/January, March/April, and August/September periods.  However, according to the SNDB, the last new prefix was first reported early in March, and nothing since.

Could the ongoing Federal public sector strike have anything to do with the lack of deliveries of new banknotes this period?

Also, when federal public sector workers previously went on strike in 1991 and 2004, were banknote deliveries impacted then too?  And I know the 2004 strike was short-lived, and the 1991 strike lasted three weeks before the workers were legislated back to work.
