I have a 1984 quarter that is smaller in diameter, thicker, weighs only 4.1 grams, and is not attracted to a magnet. I have been told that it may be on a blank that was intended for a 50 poisha coin of Bangladesh which were struck at the RCM in 1984. It needs to be examined by an XRF machine to be sure. Does anyone know who might have one in southwestern Ontario?

I know a materials lab that has a XRF machine and will do a non destructive test however the cost would probably no be worth it.  For a XRF report it would be around $900.  But you would get a professional report.

It would be best to provide all 3 samples so that they can do a comparison.
