1923 shinplaster 25 cents

I have a 1923 shinplaster. I would say it is VG to F in grade. serial number is 477337. DC-24a. Saunders. Looking some some type of value and info.

DC-24a in VG - $17
DC-24a in Fine-$25

By the number you provided it seems to me that you have DC-24c which is worth less VG= $8, Fine=$12

DC-24a is signed Hyndman/ Saunders
DC-24c is signed McCavour/Saunders

You are correct it is 24-c, by the signatures. serial #477337. Thank you for the information.
