Could someone please explain to me why the BET $10, with a printing of 920,000, is worth about 3 times what a FEV $10 with a "know" printing of 620,000?? Sure, the FEV is an insert, but wouldn't that mean even fewer would have been found?

I guess by now we can assume that FEV is not going to be a changeover.

  Any thoughts?

Personally, I think the BET has a value higher than the FEV simply because its the last of the 2001 Journey (which are generally viewed as more valuable than the 2005 modified) due to the fact that particular series was recalled (and discontinued).  Also the BET were only released in certain (more eastern) parts of Canada.  I do think a bit of profiteering went on from the start of the sales of BETs which inflated their BV and selling price.  I'm sure there are plenty more BETs out there than sellers let on, but from my experience at shows-- I don't see a lot of them.  I don't think the printing numbers 900,000 tell the whole story.  There could be fewer (time will tell).

I also think the FEV may be undervalued.  I suppose it was quickly discovered as an insert (the only thing going against it in value -- since likely many were saved in excellent condition).  There are definitely fewer than the numbers reported.  Likely released in ranges.  FEV is a mystery prefix.  It is still unknown whether it will be a change-over or its a short prefix like the 2001 $5.00 AOF or the $10 FDY since we haven't seen anything printed by the CBN for a long while.  If that turns out to be the case than its value could jump dramatically.  Also the 2005 paper is poorer than 2001 so this may make the 05 lower condition notes higher in BV.

Just speculation of course.....
