On the lasting impression sets, many dealers consider them a dead loss, however, I use the 1989 10 in sets, the newer note has no value to me except as face, thus I spend it. I do the same thing to worn or tattered notes of any year. I suspect I have spent several hundred dollars face in 1937 and 1954 notes over the past couple of years. One of the beauties of bank notes is the lowest value is face. I do not sell any such notes mentioned in the previous posts except at shows or eBay as this is a violation of the sites rules.
