FDY, FDZ, and FEE

Hey everyone, just curious if anyone has some recent data showing what any of the following $10's have sold for in UNC condition? I'm not talking about recent book value but more the "realistic" value that has either been seen through ebay or some other private sale. Thanks and here's what I'm looking for values for.

$10 - 2001 - Knight/Thiessen - FDY (2000)
$10 - 2001 - Knight/Thiessen - FDZ (2000)
$10 - 2001 - Knight/Dodge -    FDZ (2001)
$10 - 2001 - Knight/Dodge -    FEE (*2001)

I do actually own all of these in UNC. Got them a little over 2 years ago for what I considered to be a great deal at the time.

Really good question actually. But seems that we aren't seeing these notes up for sale that much anymore. Perhaps they may start dropping in price soon??? Well I can tell you the knight-Dodge FDZ though only 400,000 were printed they aren't all as popular as we'd think. You can obtain a perfectly UNC for less than $60. The others are still selling for alot more but i haven't seen any up for sale in quite awhile.

True: but a couple months ago an FDY went for about $190 and and a FEE went for about $150.  I believe a BEK and BEL were for sale around the same time so I don't know if they drew a lot of attention and drove the prices up.   Many a collector and supplier tI know who have these notes wants book+.

I wish!  I'd be surprise -- they're being sold in a trickle.

I rarely see the so-called common 2001 FDZ at shows.  The rest - ocassionally. but they're like BER's, BEK's and BEL's -- they go fast (first thing in the am).  The demand seems pretty steady.  "bubba" you've done well to save those notes!

Alll four of these notes were sold on eBay on October 20th by one of our more prominent members.

FDY for $170 and FEE for $140 ?
I guess they have gone down!  I didn't see the results of that auction.  I suppose there's always good deals on eBay and that's the place to get em. Often its a case of timing and perhaps now (with the upcoming Torex) there's more dumping going on.

I'm really surprised over the K/D FDZ for $30.  That's a shock! It must have been hoarded.

Im not surprised at all. I garantee you that at least 75% of all Knight-Dodge FDZ notes that remain today are UNC. Thats no surprise, with todays technology people knew that a changeover occured at 9.6m and grabbed on all of them fresh out of the banks. The same was not true though for the Knight-Thiessen issue. As the first notes appeared in the 9 millions it was believed at first that FDZ was just another ordinary full-run issue, which fooled everyone. Thats why they are worth lots more and they are still in great demand today especially in UNC.
