In Gilles Pomerleau's latest newsletter (March 2007 - in the mail now), Gilles proceeds to give a very extensive update on A LOT of ranges based on new information about how notes are printed and numbered. Gilles lists 88 insert ranges that differ from what appears in the 19th Edition of the Charlton catalogue, and a great many of them differ from even the prior list.

The Wiki site has been updated with all of these new and changed ranges!

Forum members are encouraged to pay close attention to what Gilles has written in his March 2007 newsletter.

Gilles expresses his appreciation to several CPMF members including Hudson AB, glassmancanada, sudzee, Dr. Bill, oli1001, BWJM, JWS, canada-banknotes, polarbear and X-Savior.

There should be 2 corrections to the updated list.

BEV 0,450 - 0,675   should be    BEV 0,450 - 0,720
BEY 3,465 - 3,555   should be    BEY 3,465 - 3,600

These updates are not on the printed list mailed out by Gilles, and thus will not be marked as insert ranges. The Wiki site contains the most recent updates from Gilles' printed list.

These updates are from Gilles!
If they were confirmed verbally or otherwise, before they can be listed as confirmed insert ranges, they need to appear in a printed newsletter from Gilles, or appear in the Charlton guide. After seeing your post, I did double-check the printed newsletter, and the ranges were as originally added to the Wiki site.

When the new ranges are included in Gilles' next newsletter, they will be updated on the Wiki site.

This policy has been in place since we started reporting highs and lows on the Wiki site. It is not to say anything against anyone's trustworthiness, reputation, etc. The sole purpose is to maintain the integrity and authority of the data presented.

Thank you.

Agreed  :)

Thank you Dr. Bill for the extra information. This must have been new information that Gilles did not have time to publish. Look forward to seeing it in the next newsletter.  8-)

Thank you very much for the update! Keep up the good work!  :)
