Was it common practice to change the first letter prefix font on 1973 $1.00 bills half way through printing?

Can you provide an example of such a font change, including scans?

I could probably e-mail the photo's to someone however I have limited success on being able to copy and paste photos.
I managed one but that was from my wifes computers (business) she has photo shop I do not and everything I have tried has only led to frustration.

That is a known variety that was discussed some time ago in the CPMS newsletter. Hang onto them.
