I recently came into possession of a number of $1000.00 bills through an estate.  Thirteen of the bills are crisp and appear to have not been circulated.  Also, there is another $1000.00 bill in a clear sleeve - the bank representative viewing the bills mentioned that this one had a Devil's head or face on it.  Can anyone out there give me an idea of what I am dealing with here

Catalog for the devil's face would be $11,500 if uncirculated

Can you post an image of the $1000 banknote that you were told has the Devil's Face on it ?

This will help us confirm that it in fact is a Devil's Face note, and help in determining a grade for the note
and ultimate market value.

If you are unable to post an image, could you provide the serial number of the notes ?  The serial numbers
including the prefix will make it very easy for us to determine the issue, signature combination and how
rare any of these $1000 notes may be.

I have posted the image of the 1954 $1000 banknote you emailed to me.

The image you sent me is of a 1954 $1000 Modified banknote.  This is not the Devil's Face variety.
 
The Devil's Face $1000 banknotes had the signature combination of Beattie-Coyne and serial numbers
ranging from A/K0000001 to A/K0030000.
 
The Lawson-Bouey signature combination is the most common of the 1954 $1000 banknotes and
catalogues at CDN $1650 in uncirculated (UNC) and $1250 in About Uncirculated (AU).
 
If you get me serial number information on the other $1000 notes, I will advise you on those as well.
