I recently purchased the following two notes on eBay that were described as Crisp UNC:
1954 $1 Beattie-Rasminsky, D/P8000000
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1201515072901954 $5 Beattie-Rasminsky, D/X6000000
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120151522830These notes were returned to the seller for refund as the notes did not grade as described. These notes have
been relisted on eBay, and as a courtesy to my fellow collectors, I am providing a detailed description based
on my physical examination of the notes:
The $1 D/P8000000 has one vertical fold on the left side of the note, as well as, many corner and edge folds
and other handling marks. This note would grade EF/AU.
The $5 D/X6000000 has two vertical folds on the right side of the note, as well as, many corner and edge folds
and other handling marks. This note would grade EF/AU.
