there is a note on a certain auction site, claiming this as an insert range..
Did I miss this one?  or is this someone trying to make a quick buck??

"This auction is for one Jenkins/Dodge five dollar AOS 2006 serial # 5800354   sheet replacement. This note is UNC. Good luck. "

I believe that is on the list as sheet replacements.  I just looked at the list of replacements that I receive from Arthur Richards.

Ask Arthur to email you the up-to-date list.  :)

The highest AOS range I know of is AOS (4893-4895), nothing higher confirmed.

There is a AOV range of (5800-5840)

Maybe this is a new range I don't know about and just reported.
As suggested, ask Arthur.

Cheers

Newfie Nightmare;

I guess I better learn how to read.  The August 25, 2007 list from Arthur only has the following AOS inserts;

AOS (4845000 - 4850000) 5K (SNR)
AOS (4893000 - 4895000) 2K (SNR)

I was looking at the AOV inserts.  Sorry for the confusion.

I just received Gilles September 2007 list in the mail and the following three AOS SNR ranges are listed as confirmed:

2006 $5 Jenkins-Dodge, AOS (4.845M - 4.847M)           2K     Single Note Replacement Range

2006 $5 Jenkins-Dodge, AOS (4.849M - 4.850M)           1K     Single Note Replacement Range

2006 $5 Jenkins-Dodge, AOS (4.893M - 4.895M)           2K     Single Note Replacement Range

It states in his list that the confirmed ranges are accurate as of August 30th.  The AOS (4.850M - 4.890) sheet
replacement range is listed as to be confirmed.

There is no mention of the AOS (5.800M - 5.840M) range.  This may because there has only been one reported
find and multiple finds are needed to confirm a range.

...Arthur

I spoke with Gilles Pomerleau this morning by phone and he stated that he has had no finds reported to him of any
replacements in the AOS (5.800M - 5.840M) range.

Three independent and verifiable finds of sheet replacements must be reported before a range can be confirmed.
As such, this range is not confirmed at the present time.
