I have  a question which I am sure others have as well ......so hopefully this thread gets some feedback

I know there are registries for some of the tough to find notes, but how about some of the others that we don't hear to much about...They don't come up for sale often.....They don't seem to be found and posted my many members....yet when they appear for sale, people seem to flock with curiosity and questions.  I know you will never really know how many have been found (or hoarded), but are they common or not.  ???  Is it only the hype that brings the price up up up........

Is there any idea of how many AOM, AOR, and AOP SNRS have been found???????
Will they ever reach the same prices as FEP BEU or HPA's
All opinions welcome.......

Hi FSQ,
Well those ones you mention are interesting... those are the tricky ones that were in the funny banded bricks.

Out west, I never got one.

How does that compare? Well, you saw my radar list....  that means I have essentially gone through that many bricks of $5s, and not one.

Note:  20% of those radars were purchased from others,,, so that is still a great deal of bricks with nothing...

Those ones in particular I think are goint to behigh and stayhigh.

Note: I don't own one. (and I don't own many either lol)

Saying: I have none.  lol

I must be lucky over the 15 bricks this year, landing one (crazy, but well meaning) brick with a few AORs and AOTs Huds. Two different replacements in the same brick was strange enough. ;D

AOM (0480000 - 0482000) 2K
AOM (0483000 - 0484000) 1K
AOP  (7075000 - 7076000) 1K
AOR  (2640000 - 2643000) 3K
FEP  (0045000 - 0135000)  90K
BEU  (0023000 - 0025000)  2K

With the exception of the FEP, looking at these numbers one would too easily draw conclusion that all these should have similar rarity but doesn’t seem to be the case with known or anecdotal selling prices varying so widely. The real issue this boils down to is how many were found or spared from circulation, and that would be the final determination of buy/sell prices. I would tend to agree there is some correlation with range sizes but we have to accept it as part of the answer. With FEP I can only surmise there were very few despite the relatively large range, also that tens are not as well searched than the fives. Could most of them been destroyed in a changeover? I don’t know.  ???
I would think AOM prices can be at par with AORs, and that the AOPs would even fewer demanding a higher premium. We just cannot account for those that escaped circulation or simply non-disclosed by some finders. Unless we have reports of all finds we won’t know and panic buying should not be the way we should base a general pricing on a given note(s). It would be nice if we could just seen the reports from Giles that X number of notes were reported for AOX range etc, ect. :)

My thoughts exactly, assuming that I base this on the little info that is out there,
however do certain notes (and prefixes) seem to remain in certain areas of the country depending on how they are distributed.  ???
