Whats a Change over note?

 This is explained on page 366 of the 20th edition of the Charlton catalogue.

 Two notes with the same prefix letters but with different signatures.

 With some collectors trying to get numbers as close to the change over number as possible.

  Here is a scan of a change over note, the fourth note with Bonin/Thiessen signatures. I believe number 000,001 and 002 are in the currency museum.
