I have a 1937 One Dollar Bill, serial # 7707991,it has the letters c/n before the serial #.It was issued in  Ottawa on Jan. 2,1937.Does anyone know what this is worth?

Your note is of the common variety signed by “Coyne” at left and “Towers” at right. The notes value will range from $8 in bad condition to $90 in mint pristine condition.

A little extra info if you wish. The face on your note is of King George the 6th.160 million notes of this type were printed up to 1954. No one knows exactly how many survived but it is estimated quite high by their usual appearance on the market.

Not worth a fortune yet but great note to start a collection
