Approximate value on these?  If it is face value, can I just go take them and cash them in?  ???

The EKX had a lower number printed (339,685) and in VF condition books at 1200.00. The EKA's in VF are $1000.00
Personally it is alot of money to hang onto.
If it's spending money there are a lot of better notes to put your money into, however this is only my opinion

Thanks, I'll take them up and exchange them when the funny money drops back down a bit.  I think we got these from my great grandparents about 15 years ago  :o

If you decide to sell those $1,000 off you might get lots of interest in that EKX. They're not easy to come by.

As for the 50's and 100's you have also pictured, what are the numbers on them?

Cheers
