Hi guys I have a few notes that I hope to get your opinions on. Now I do have the latest catalogue but I would like to know your true opinion whether or not its worth keeping or not. I dont have pics but my main concerns are:

$50 Mounties Note that has an X in the Prefix denoting it being a replacement note.

1. It has an approx 1 CM tear on the corner
2. It has been circulated
3. There are random pen writings on it.

I also have a 3 digit radar of the same series ($50 Mounties).

1) Staple damage again =(
2) There is a penned 5

Lastly I have a $1000 Birds series replacement note EKX 0060961 ( ><! Almost Rotator )

1)Pretty clean and stiff note. Only real concern is 1 staple damage where whoever stapled it just pulled it off resulting in a staple length tear in the note. (no pieces of the note are missing at the damage point)

Any insight or opinions will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

If I had these notes in my collection I would keep them. Question for you, the $50 with an X on it, what signature is on the note?

If you are not sure if you want them in your collection, or need the spending cash, you could always offer the notes for sale. As Eyevet mentioned in another recent post, you could make someone’s day by offering them the note for their collection. I would be interested in the $50 radar  :)

Cheers
