Tis the season when the forum tends to be slow...so I thought I would start a simple poll for the new year.
I know we have done similar polls in the past, but I'm sure there are many new members that have not answered previous polls. as well as many old members.
If you like to add some comments why you voted the way you did, that would be great as well.  The late night reading material is always welcome. :)
And remember, a vote takes only seconds out of your busy schedule, and it gives us an idea of how many members are still actively checking the forum posts...

While I always like to get a deal   ::) -I know deep down I need to down size and I keep telling myself that so I have to go with that answer in your poll (even though it may not materialize!)  :D

Always hard to down size..what do you keep, what do you trade...what do your sell...too many options...so you end up doing nothing :)

95 views and only15 votes for the poll...It really isn't that hard to pick one option
less than 16% turnout at the polls....this isn't an election you know  :)

I have slowed my buying for a few reasons. Every year prices get lower and buyers become more scarce and all this at a time when Canadians have never been wealthier. ??? Prices will be in free fall for many years to come so patience will reward the prepared  ;) and unfortunately punish sellers.  :'(

Just continue to build and complete my existing sets...and snipe a deal if it comes along.

  Don't worry I voted  :)

But technically that isn't an accurate number since some of those views will be people who don't have accounts with this forum and so can't vote.  Since that number can't be determined, we will never know what the true percentage is that voted though it is probably very likely that most people didn't vote.  Just my guess of course.

Could also be that people who have already voted come back to check the polls and it's marked again as read another time....

I voted... it was the downsize one... but the truth is I don't plan to sell off any of the notes I have... (chances are nobody would buy them anyways)... So I would rather be a whole lot more specific with the notes I pick up...

My goals are as follows:
1) Chartered notes with livestock
2) Solids (especially 9's)
3) try and get all series in ChUNC

I think that will be keep me interested and busy for this next year.

I'm sure there are lots of forum lurkers who never bothered to register because they only read the forums and don't post. Unregistered viewers can of course read the thread but not vote in the poll

I will be looking for small but significant mishaps like:

doughnut hickeys on key areas of the vignettes.
threads that form patterns.
doubling of any letters on the notes.

Anything that could be viewed as modifying the artistic intent of the note.

Wonder what paper money would say if it could talk?
